Earlier this March, ‘Ghost Town to Havana’ screened at the Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival and won the Audience Award for best film. The audience was so moved in fact that they passed the proverbial hat and donated nearly $1,000 to the main subject of the film, Coach Roscoe Bryant and his team, the Oakland Royals. On July 15th at 7pm ‘Ghost Town to Havana’ will screen again as part of the Festivals ‘Best of Fest’ event at the SCA Brent Auditorium in Sebastopol. Our film will be preceded by the fun short doc ‘Ron Taylor: Dr. Baseball’ which profiles the journey of a multiple World Series winning pitcher who goes on to become a physician. What better way to celebrate summertime (and the All-Star Break) than with a pair of excellent baseball documentaries packed with major league memories, you won’t want to miss out!
